About Me

Sina Firuzbakht

I am a researcher in artificial intelligence and network science, with a strong passion for understanding complex systems in infrastructure, social dynamics, and biology. My expertise lies in graph neural networks, deep learning, and topological analysis of networks, enabling me to model and address real-world challenges.

My previous work spans from analyzing infrastructural and social networks to uncovering cellular communication patterns in cancer. I am eager to pursue a Ph.D. in network science to develop innovative, network-driven approaches for solving interdisciplinary challenges.

Currently, I'm working at the Laboratory of System Biology and Bioinformatics (LBB) at the University of Tehran, where I conduct gene co-expression network analysis and single-cell analysis for cancer progression studies. I also implement deep learning techniques for pathology image normalization and tumor staging.
